Sylvia is lawyer by profession, Human rights activist with an extensive work experience in Human Service. She has proven leadership experience, including team leadership responsibilities on various NGO projects, setting organizational goals and implementation plans to achieve organizational objectives. Sylvia is the Co-Founder GoLearn-USA a non-profit leading organization that works with different institutions to provide internship & volunteering opportunities abroad to the young leaders for advanced professionalism in different sectors or educational programs.
Sylvia is a Rotarian and member of Eugene Southtowne Rotary Club in Eugene-Oregon USA. She’s passionate about Social Change and has become an advocate for child education serving as UN Global Youth Ambassador with A world at School 2016-2021. She is the Director Enlight Vocational Institutions located in Matugga-kampala-Uganda a one Institute that equips youth with practical skills in vocational fields that will lead to their social economic growth and transformation. She is a certified travel advisor with American Society of Travel Advisors and Co-director Global Tours & Travel- USA and Lego Safaris -Uganda tour agencies that provides travel and tourism-related products and services that target travelers and tourists both at Local and International.
Sylvia is a regional Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Alumni program that was launched by former President of the United States Barack Obama as a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. She is a 2017 Acumen Fellow East Africa, a global community changing the way the world tackles poverty.
She is the national coordinator World Council for Youth and diplomacy, a New York based NGO shaping future generations through learning programs and conferences worldwide. She is a member of cruise lines association, eugene area chamber of commerce -usa, Uganda national chamber of commerce, American transport association and Africa travel association. Sylvia was a 2017 TEDx speaker -TEDxNaguruWomen in Kampala, Uganda and 2017 youth representative at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City UN headquarters’ and has won several awards including Advocate of the year 2016 in Africa Youth Awards for young people from over 145 countries from across the world as well as named among the 100 most influential young leaders 2017 in Africa.
